Marine
COREX-honeycomb is ideal for use in Marine applications as it offers a high strength-to-weight
ratio with a relatively low cost. COREX-Honeycomb is available in both Aluminium Alloy Grade
3003 or 5052. When used in an adhesive bonded composite or sandwich panel the weight remains
low and so it is particularly suitable for Marine Honeycomb Interior Panels and Partitions, Furniture,
Ceiling and Flooring Panels, Hulks and Bulkheads.
Certified for Marine Composite use:- Corex Aluminium Honeycomb has been granted the Wheelmark and United States Coastguard Certification. This means that COREX-honeycomb can be fitted onboard any European American marine vessel as it complies with the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea 1974 and Smoke and Toxicity Test to IMO Resolution MSC 61(67).
